Emerald: Changing author field in small screens

Many of my members complain that the author field takes up too much space on their phone screens. One way to handle that is to eliminate fields as the screen shrinks (ie. mobile/responsive mode).

How would I set that up?

Yes, that part. In the theme we use on our current board, everything but the poster's user name, avatar and number of posts disappears when it's phone sized.

Attached are screenshots of the current board in mobile mode and the MyBB test site in mobile mode. It appears that post creation is also not responsive.

I do not see what is the problem
If the thing is big it's because there are member details and avatar, while your old theme just had the username.
