Changing the hb.png image

I wanted to change the animated banner in the header, I assumed it was just the image but I was wrong apparently, I just wanted to change the color to make it slightly darker. I was just curious if I needed to change something other than the actual "hb.png" image.

Sorry if this is has a basic solution, I am quite new to this type of stuff.

Just go to images/emerald/hb.png & edit that file, you can make it darker using photoshop for example. Then reupload it again
