1. What is wrong there?
2. Themes -> Emerald -> global.css -> Line 48 -> Choose another color.
3. In the color.css you added, find #home_bit on the first line and remove it. Then go to line 17 and remove the line, leaving just the opacity there.
4. Sure you have all images uploaded? I had same issue and just installed Default Avatar plugin, but later realized I had images missing from the images folder, so it could've just been that.
