MyAlerts Link for Emerald

Hi! I love the Emerald theme so much --- thank you for making it available to us! I was wondering how I'd go about adding the MyAlerts functionality next to the UserCP link. I've tried adding the variable to the code in the script, but I'm clearly doing something wrong since the only thing that shows up is the icon font.
