Footer not fixed-bottom - Extended Version Emerald

Hi... I found that the footer in this theme is does not get fixed to the bottom of the browser. For example with pages with smaller height content the footer get up and leves empty background space below.

Is it suppose be like that? I compared with the free version of Emerald... (see picture attached)
Also I realized that this same D&D Forum theme has same behaviour.

For the footer, yes It was a matter of choice because of two main reasons. The CSS/JS code that orders the footer to be fixed in the bottom often provokes problems because not all devices/browsers are compatible with it. The second is that probability to get a small height content in real forums is nearly 0 since there are always sufficient forum sections & stuff to fill the page, unless you run an empty test forum. But if you still want that to be fixed I can help you with it, let me know what you think

Thanx for the reply. I understand, also you are right... the probability of getting an empty forum is far. So is as better trade of ;-)  and less gymnastics on page code.
